Can I Close My Account?

Yes, you can close your account, here are a few important things to know first:

  • Pending Submissions: If you have any pending reduction requests, you must wait until the 60-day review period has ended before you can close your account.

  • Agreement Letters: Ensure you have downloaded any agreement letters from the app before closing your account, as these will not be accessible afterward.

  • Permanent Action: Closing your account is a permanent action. Once your account is closed, you will not be able to successfully create a new account or access your existing account and its information.

  • Opening New Accounts: Each person is allowed only one account. Our system verifies your SSN, detects any previous accounts associated with you, and won’t allow you to continue in the app.

  • Login Disabled: Once your account is closed you will not be able to log back into your account or receive verification codes to get back into your account.

How do I close my account?
To close your account please follow these instructions:

  1. Login to the app and navigate to your profile settings 👤

  2. Beneath the Log Out button you will see 'Close Account'

  3. Select 'Close Account' and follow the prompts

If you do not see prompts to close out your own account please be sure to update your app to the most recent version.
