Does Relief charge any fees?

Relief applies a one-time platform fee for each submitted reduction request.

Updated over 4 months ago

It doesn't cost anything to creating a Relief account nor does Relief does not charge a monthly fee.

Instead, Relief applies a one-time platform fee for each submitted reduction request. This fee is based on the estimated savings achieved through the plan.

You pay to have your reduction request sent directly to your creditor. This process is handled automatically, eliminating the hassle of back-and-forth negotiations.

How does the platform fee work?

  • The fee is calculated based on your savings, making it a cost-effective alternative to traditional settlement firms, which can charge fees as high as 30%.

  • It is collected using your connected accounts and payment methods.

  • The platform fee is not a deposit toward what you owe your creditor and is not used to pay your creditor directly.

What happens if my reduction request is declined?
If your creditor declines the request or we are unable to secure a reduction within 60 days, the platform fee for that specific request will be fully refunded.
