How does Relief work?

How Relief works to help you with your debt.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Relief is a self-service tool for people with debt that is overwhelming or already overdue. Unlike traditional methods, our platform automates the process of lowering your debt. It is designed to be the most affordable and seamless way to manage debt that is blocking your life. We give you the technology and the steps, so you have the power to handle it yourself.

The Relief Membership

To get started, the first step is to subscribe. Once you are a member, the app guides you through these eight steps:

Put in your info: Securely connect your accounts so the app can find your overdue debt.

See estimated reductions: We show you how much your creditors usually agree to take off your balance.

Pick a debt: Choose which account you want to start with first.

Send the request: Tap a button to send your request directly to the creditor.

Wait up to 60 days: The creditor reviews your request while the app tracks the progress.

Check the app: You will see your approval and your new, lower balance right in the app.

Set up payments: Finalize your new, smaller payment terms directly with the creditor.

Move to the next one: Once that debt is handled, you can start the process for your next one.

Note: If a Relief Membership isn’t the right fit for your situation, we will connect you with trusted partners who have other options to help you.
