How do I resync my debt?

1. What is a debt resync?

A resync is when we refresh your debt data to check for new eligible accounts and savings opportunities. Instead of a one-time scan, your accounts are now resynced approximately every 45 days.

2. How often does Relief resync my debt?

Approximately every 45 days. This ensures we’re providing you with the latest available savings opportunities while keeping the process smooth and efficient.

3. How do I resync my debt?

It is done automatically! Just log into the Relief app and follow the prompts. If we find eligible accounts, you can request savings right away.

4. What happens if I try to resync before 45 days?

We can only do this when there are updates on your account. Credit reports typicaly update every 45 days. You’ll get a notification letting you know when you can check again.

5. What if I resync my debt and nothing is eligible?

Not all debts qualify for savings and eligibility changes over time. If no new accounts are found, we will be sure to notify you when new accounts are found or updated.

6. Will resyncing affect my credit score?

Nope. Resyncing just updates your data. It has no impact on your credit score.

7. I closed my account. Can I resync my debt now?

You’ll need to reach out to us to reopen your account first.

Once your account is reopened, you’ll be able to resync your debt and check for new savings opportunities. The process of reopening your account can take a few business days to complete.

8. What if my new estimated savings look different from my last estimate?

Your savings estimate is based on the most recent data from your creditors. This number may change depending on updated account balances, creditor participation, and new eligible debts.

9. How do I take advantage of my estimated savings?

Once you resync, open the app and request savings on any new eligible accounts—it just takes a few taps.
