How do you determine which accounts are eligible?

Determining which debts are shown as eligible

We review your accounts for any that meet the eligibility requirements:

  • The account is 90+ days past due

  • The debt is unsecured (like credit cards and personal loans)

  • The debt is not part of a joint account

  • The balance is over $100

  • Your creditor is currently supported within the platform

If you have eligible accounts, they will automatically show up and you can take action on them straight through the app.

šŸ’” Don’t see an eligible account? You may still have options. Even if an account is not currently eligible or does not appear in Relief, we can still provide educational resources, tools, scripts/blueprints for contacting creditors directly, and help you track collector activity for potential rule violations that may be worth reviewing.

Please note that Relief can only display debts that appear as eligible through the data available from Equifax. Relief cannot modify information shown in the app, including adding accounts or changing debt information.
